Photographers in Lansing MI // The Big Latch On 2017

I was super excited to be asked to capture some candid moments from the Big Latch On event that happened earlier this month at the Capitol.

This year as with the previous years, Mother and Earth Baby Boutique hosted the Big Latch On. Here was some info they posted about the event:

"Every year, August 1st-7th is World Breastfeeding Week in an effort to raise awareness of the benefits of breastfeeding and the need for global support. This is organized by the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action. World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated in 120 countries and marks the signing of the WHO/UNICEF document Innocenti Declaration, which lists the benefits of breastfeeding, plus global and governmental goals. To mark this occasion on Saturday, August 5th at 10:30am thousands of breastfeeding women and their babies/children across the globe will gather in their own communities to take part in the Global Big Latch On, a synchronized breastfeeding event in multiple locations."
